Er gilt als prominenter Branchenvordenker im Bereich der Skalierung von Cloud-Software-Unternehmen. 2015 prägte er „T2D3“, eine Wachstumskennzahl, welche besonders für SaaS-Unternehmen interessant ist, die ein methodisches Wachstum verfolgen möchten. Seit mehreren Jahren veröffentlicht Neerajs Team bei Battery einen zunächst jährlichen (heute vierteljährlichen) Bericht über die aktuelle Lage der Softwarebranche, der einen großen Leserkreis anzieht. Jedes Jahr beteiligt sich Neeraj außerdem an der jährlichen, exklusiven „CloudNY“-Konferenz für CEOs erfolgreicher Cloud- und SaaS-Unternehmen, die Battery mit unserem Partner Firstmark Capital organisiert. Daneben ist Neeraj verantwortlich für die einflussreiche, jährliche Liste Highest Rated Cloud-Computing Companies to Work For (Beste Cloud-Computing-Unternehmen für Arbeitnehmer), die Battery basierend auf Daten von Glassdoor – einem unserer ehemaligen Portfoliounternehmen – veröffentlicht.

Neeraj wurde zehn Jahre in Folge in die Forbes Midas List aufgenommen, eine Rangliste der 100 weltweit besten Risikokapitalgeber*innen. 2019 schaffte er es sogar in die Top Ten dieser Liste – konkret belegte er Platz neun. 2017 wurde Neeraj von der New York Times zu einem der Top 20 Venture Capitalists Worldwide (Die weltweiten Top 20 der Risikokapitalgeber) ernannt. Neeraj hat seine Insights zu aktuellen Markttrends bereits in Publikationen wie The Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe, CNBC.com,Forbes, TechCrunch und The New York Times präsentiert. Vor Battery arbeitete Neeraj als Produktmanager bei RealNetworks und als Operating Executive bei SkyTV. Er hat einen BS in Informatik von Cornell und einen MBA von der Harvard Business School.
